Why doing both together is better

It is not just convenience. A haircut and a beard meet at the sideburn, and that junction is what makes the whole thing look deliberate or accidental.

When a beard is trimmed by someone who did not cut your hair, the sideburns rarely line up — the beard sits at one density and the hair at another, with a visible step where they meet. Doing both in one sitting means the fade can be blended into the beard so there is a continuous line from the top of the head to the chin.

It is also cheaper. $30 plus $25 is $55 separately; the package is $50.

What to expect when you book

Walk in or book ahead. Walk-ins are welcome every day. Booking just means you are not waiting for a chair, which is worth doing on weekends and late afternoons.
